It's Just A Flesh Wound!

I'm about three fourths of the way done with the north plot. I would have finished over the long weekend except that my new tiller lost the right blade assembly. I need to find a local support place for MTD. In the mean time I managed to put in:
  • Hales Best and Early Silver Line melons
  • The remaining four tomato varieties
  • Burgess buttercup squash
  • Jalapeno and Serrano chilies
  • The remaining bush beans
  • Chinese Giant and California Wonder peppers
  • Sunflowers
  • Golden Bantam, Stowell Evergreen and Hickory King corn
The Golden Bantam went in the back of the butternut row along with Dark Seeded and Thomas Laxton peas, and the Jickory King went in back of the buttercup row along with my legacy, red kidney, pole beans. These are part of my attempt at the three-sisters method of planting.

I really need to get everything else into the ground soon (except the brassica which I will save for a mid-summer planting.) Time to get into cutting corners/reduction/consolidation mode.
