A Half Empty Glass

Well, I finished the north plot today, except for some space I left for potatoes and brassica that will go in in a few weeks. The far western side of this plot gets a lot of afternoon shade so it will be a bit cooler there. The final items that went in were:
  • Hearts of Gold Melon
  • Charleston Watermelon
  • Hopi Blue Corn
  • Connecticut Fields Pumpkin
  • Double Standard Corn
  • Sugar Snap Peas
The Hopi Blue is actually an heirloom that is supposed to only grow three feet tall and produces blue, sweet corn; we shall see. The Double Standard and Snap Peas I three-sistered with the pumpkins. Tomorrow I will start on the south plot. We're also finally eating strawberries, woo hoo!
